主要研究领域:
针对我国粮食安全的重大需求和生命科学的前沿问题,本课题组主要围绕农作物和园艺作物中两个重点问题展开。一个是探寻作物生长发育中影响产量和品质的重要性状:株型发育(分蘖、株高、穗型等)和籽粒形成(花/穗建成、籽粒发育、品质等)。二是围绕 “作物的免疫识别和抗病机制” 这一关键科学问题,以小麦赤霉病,辣椒疫病,十字花科根肿病为研究方向,探索细菌、卵菌、真菌等病原微生物如何逃避宿主免疫系统的识别,植物如何进化出复杂的免疫系统来抵抗病原菌的侵染。同时,课题组还在土壤微生物群落多样性与植物抗病力方面进行探索,为绿色农业和可持续发展农业提供理论支持和技术支撑。
