Our Institute's Mass Spectrometry Analysis Platform Collaborates in Establishing a New Method for Analyzing S-nitrosoproteomics

Recently, the Mass Spectrometry Analysis Platform of the Peking University Institute of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, in collaboration with the team of Professor Pengcheng Wang from the Research Institute of Advanced Biosciences of Southern University of Science and Technology, published a research paper titled "FAT-switch-based quantitative S-nitrosoproteomics reveals a key role of GSNOR1 in regulating ER functions" in Nature Communications. The paper reports on a new method for studying S-nitrosylation proteomics, marking the first-time high-precision quantitative detection of the S-nitrosylation (protein modification) group in plants The study also reveals the central role of S-nitrosylation target proteins in the regulation process during endoplasmic reticulum stress.
