On January 2, 2024, the research teams of Academician Xing Wang Deng and Professor Hang He from the Peking University Institute of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, published a research paper in Nature Communications, titled "Mapping nucleosome-resolution chromatin organization and enhancer-promoter loops in plants using Micro-C-XL". They improved and utilized the chromatin conformation capture technique Micro-C-XL with nucleosome resolution, and reported for the first time super high-resolution chromatin interaction maps in plants. With this methodology, they revealed high-precision chromatin structural domains and chromatin loops, and analyzed the molecular mechanisms through which RNA polymerases II, IV, and V regulate chromatin structure.
