Plant nuclear envelope
Team name
Plant nuclear envelope
Principal Investigator
Research Objectives
Our group mainly has two important research directions based on nuclear envelope. Aim 1: Investigation of its complete composition, crystal structure, as well as underlying molecular mechanisms of the plant NPC. Aim 2: The identification and characterization of crop nuclear envelope components that are involved in plant stress responses. These molecular mechanisms would be useful for developing powerful tools for smart breeding with both developmental robustness and environmental resilience in the near future.
