Prof. Hu is mainly engaged in the research of development economics and agricultural technology economics, and his research interests include science and technology and development policy, agricultural emission reduction, agricultural resources and environmental economics, etc. He has authored 154 research papers, 4 monographs, and 18 policy consulting reports that have received approval from national leaders.
