In the aim of improving yield and resilience of the world's largest staple food—wheat, we focus on finalizing hybrid wheat breeding technology, thereby providing technological assurance for the nation's food security. Targeting the objective of fulfilling people's pursuit of a healthy life, we focus on new agricultural models, develop new varieties of fruits and vegetables, and facilitate the development of China seed industry. In line with the strategic development positioning of the agriculture "three models", we seek to explore new models and paths of agricultural science and technology for rural revitalization, providing think tank support for the high-quality development of agriculture in Weifang, Shandong, and across the country. Based on the cooperation with Tel Aviv University in Israel, we plan to intensify our collaboration with more renowned international universities in joint talent development, striving to become a domestic highland for agricultural research within 5 years, and an internationally leading research institute within 10 years.
