Upholding principles of openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit, the Institute proactively engages international cooperation and academic exchange. Extensive relationships have been forged with both international and domestic universities, research institutions, and enterprises in agriculture. Collaboration has been established with more than 30 domestic and international companies, including Charoen Pokphand Group, Syngenta Group, and Shandong Seed Group. Additionally, collaborative ventures in technological innovation, joint student training and visiting scholarships have been initiated with 20 universities and research institutions such as Tel Aviv University, Tsinghua University, China Agricultural University, and Shandong Agricultural University. In 2023, the Institute received over 300 groups of domestic and international visitors, totaling more than 3,000 individuals. Additionally, over 4,000 primary and secondary students participated in research and learning activities at the Institute.

We cordially invited esteemed experts in the domain of agriculture for an exchange of ideas in Weifang, with 114 Frontier Research lectures hosted so far. Our research scientists were invited to attend academic conferences, and presented keynote speeches almost a hundred times. To nurture and guide aspiring young scientists, we organized an internal academic exchange event, the "Binhu Youngs Forum", twenty-one times. Further, in our endeavor to elevate the standards of administrative services, we convened internal sharing sessions on administrative services a total of ten times.
